Kanye Vs. Taylor Swift… again

PR Connection #1 – Comm 2322 & 4333

Everyone was tweeting and video blogging about the performances of both Kanye West and Taylor Swift during the 2010 VMA’s. Both of their songs were directed at each other even though there was never a verbal exchange during the show. Taylor Swift’s performance began with a flashback of last year’s interruption and then began to sing her new song “innocent”, where the young Country star sang, “I hope you remember today is never too late to be brand new..”, which was directed straight to Mr. West.

Later on in the show, there was a musical response from Kayne, with a unique performance of his brand new song. This was the first response Kanye ever made regarding the situation but it was far from an apology. At the point where that might have been Mr. West’s stance on the events last year, they were quite mistaken. Instead, Kanye lead a chant of the lyrics, “Let’s have a toast for the a–holes, have a toast for the jerk-offs, let’s have a toast for the scumbags”. Basically he was stating his position regarding the 2009 VMA incident and saying that it is better to celebrate the men that play games and conduct themselves the way he does.

Leave a comment on all your thoughts toward the musical battle 😀

Kanye is a true jerk for what he did to Taylor Swift as last years awards. For anyone to come onstage and just out right interupt someones award acceptane is just so direspectful in so many ways! And Being that she is an innocent white women and he’s this blunt black hoodrat he should not have done her like that. He truly embarrased her and made her award acceptance a non memorable moment. And the fact that both of their songs were geared towards each other was super hilarious!!! Both of them were going for round 2! LOLOLOL!!!
